She (Violet Sickling) was apparently in a workhouse from a very young age (about 4) there was some scandal I believe and this could be where my 60% Scandinavian dna comes from, I actually have no English dna. My gran was described in the intake documents as blonde haired and blue eyed, "of Scandinavian appearance". However her exact year of birth was unable to be confirmed. They appeared to know it within a couple of years either side but not 100% sure. This is one of the reasons we're doing my mum's dna...I find it fascinating. I gave a lot of matches coming up in Denmark
